Megan has seven and a half years of experience teaching composition and, recently, literature at the college and university level, and she has also taught creative writing to incarcerated youth and high school students. In addition to her educational background in creative writing and literature, she also brings over a decade of career experience in journalism, public relations, and municipal public information to the classroom. 


Megan's primary pedagogical interests are universal design, autoethnography, contact zone teaching, and creating a more inclusive classroom experience for students on the margins and students of difference, particularly for those with invisible disabilities.
